Obituary

Barbara MacIntosh, passed away on April 11, 2026, at home surrounded by her dearest family and friends at peace, quietly and free of pain, after a 19 month-long hard-fought battle of metastatic breast cancer.

Barbara was the daughter of the late Barbara and Lee Paulk and sister to the late Thomas and Robert Paulk. She was born on December 9, 1952, and raised in Somerville MA. She eventually married Ken, the love of her life, who she grew up with and spent the next 51 years building a beautiful life together in Hudson NH. Together they raised three children, and then welcoming six grandchildren into the family, the most precious, greatest joys of her life.

Barbara had an electric personality that radiated in all she did. To know her was to love her, it was that simple. She lived for her family; it was her most treasured accomplishment. Quilting, making sauce, meatballs, and Sunday dinners were a close second in life, and those closest to her were rewarded with the benefits of all three.

Barbara, "Gramee Barb", "Babs", "Barbie Paulk from Somerville" you will be missed truly beyond measure and have created a beautiful legacy within your family.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Ken, Sister -in -laws  Eileen Paulk and Mary Paulk, daughter and son in law Kerri and Aram Jeknavorian of Pelham, Her son and daughter in law Ken MacIntosh and Karalyn Gauvin of Hooksett, son Tim MacIntosh of Hudson., six grandchildren, Madsion, Emily and William-Henry Jeknavorian, Jacqueline and Danielle MacIntosh, Maizy MacIntosh, as well as many nieces, nephews and cherished dear friends .
