Barbara Jean Lavoie, 76, of Litchfield, NH passed away on Sunday, June 9th, 2023 at her home.

She was born on September 5, 1946, to Ruth (Dolliver) and Dustan Power. Barbara was raised in Billerica and attended local schools. Barbara spent the majority of her career in insurance and worked for Utica up until she retired.

Barbara was always an easy-going person who simply loved spending time with her family playing cards and dice. She enjoyed tending to her indoor plants and spending time in her garden. Barbara was also an avid reader and crocheter.

She is survived by her children, Brian Lavoie and his wife Nancy of Methuen, MA, Cheryl Barnes of Northwood, NH, Michele McPhee of Rockwood, TN, and Eric Lavoie and his wife Barbi of Litchfield, NH; her grandchildren, Trevor Lavoie, Nicholas Lavoie, Alexa Barnes, Emily Barnes, Stephen Brown, Jonathon Brown, Jessica McPhee, Hannah Gerardi, and Brady Gerardi; her great-grandchildren, Adyson Deslongchamps, Kataleya Rodriguez, and Nalany Rodriguez; her brother, Michael Power; her sister, Donna Power; as well as close friends.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Power.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 21st from 10am to 11am at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11am at the funeral home.
