Barbara Ruth Blouin, 93, of Salem, NH passed away on Thursday morning, January 19 ^th , 2023 at  Parkland Medical Center.

She was born on December 1, 1929 to Hazel (Parker) and Everett Stevens. Barbara was raised in Methuen, MA and attended local schools. She went on to marry the love of her life, Earl Blouin and the couple raised their family in Salem, NH. Barbara enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, playing 45's, and somehow always managed to have the ace of hearts. She was well known for giving "The best hugs in the World".  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Beverly Castricone and her husband Anthony of Arizona, Jayne Vartanian and her husband Darrell of Londonderry, NH, and Mary Lou Woodbury and her husband David of Salem, NH; her grandchildren, Jill Lacaillade and her husband David, Jarad Vartanian and his wife Lia, Justin Vartanian and his fiancé Kate Gelineau, J Taylor and his wife Sarah, and Chelsey Castricone; her great grandchildren, Eliana, Reese, Brady, Brielle, Colby, Maggie, Angus,Evelyn, Morgan and Macenzie; her brother, Robert Stevens; and her dear extended family members, Terri Blouin, Pam Lundberg, and Nancy Woodbury.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Earl Blouin; and her sisters, Elinor Bruno, Margaret Cooper, and Virginia Stephonitis.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 24 ^th from 4pm to 7pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday morning at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem.
