Anthony (Tony) McCoy, 70, of Salem, NH, passed away unexpectedly at his home, on September 15 th , 2025. Tony was born on May 3, 1955, in Chicago, IL, to Beverly Jean (O'Connor) and Billy Wayne McCoy.

Tony was raised in East Hampstead, NH, where he attended local schools. He proudly served his country with the United States Navy. Tony spent the majority of his career working with Lucent Technologies. In his free time, Tony was an avid sports fan, who traded and collected various memorabilia. He was interested in history and enjoyed his time reading historical nonfiction and collecting items from the time periods that fascinated him the most. His favorite spot was wherever he could relax, unwind and either read or watch tv. Tony had a soft spot for all animals, especially his cats. He also enjoyed fresh water and ocean fishing.

In addition to his mother, Beverly Jean (O'Connor) McCoy, Tony is survived by his siblings, Stephen McCoy and his partner Sylvia Loumeau, Ellie  Bettencourt and her husband Manny Bettencourt, and Edward McCoy; nephews, James and Robin McCoy; and sister-in-law, Claire McCoy.

He was predeceased by his father, Billy McCoy.
