Anne Njeri Wakeanda, 71, of Dagoretti, Kenya, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. She was born on June 26, 1953, in Mukurwe Village in Mangu, Thika, Kenya, to Ernest Karanja Kamau and Lucy Wanjiku Karanja.

Anne was known by many to be prayerful, thoughtful, having consistently gone out of her way to make sure that others' needs were met before her own. She was ever the optimist, who treated everyone that she met with endless kindness and friendship. Anne was also known as a "God fearing woman," who let her faith guide her throughout her life. She loved her children deeply and enjoyed her visits to the United States every summer to visit her family overseas.

She is survived by her children: Richard Wakeanda and his wife Lina of Salem, NH, Charles Wakeanda and his wife Purity Wanjiku of Kenya, Michael Wakeanda and his wife Beatrice of Kenya, Roselyn Wakeanda and her husband David Kuria of Kenya, Andrew Wakeanda of Kenya, and Paul Wakeanda and his wife Carol of Kenya; her siblings, Joseph Mwaniki, Agnes Wabethi, Kamau, Njoroge and Muturi and her 12 beloved grandchildren.
