Anita (Savard) Racy, 90, of Lowell, MA, passed away peacefully at her home on November 17, 2022.
Anita was born in Lowell, MA on March 4, 1932. She is the daughter of the late Helen (Cronin) Savard and the sister to the late, Edward J. Savard, Sr. Anita attended the Lowell schools and was a life-long Lowell, MA resident.
Anita retired from M/A-COM, Inc. in Burlington, MA where she worked for over 25 years. Her home and yard were her happy place, and she was passionate about her beautiful yard which she lovingly maintained for over 40 years. She loved to travel and especially loved traveling to Hawaii, Aruba, and Bahamas.
She was a wonderful Mom, Aunt, Neighbor and Friend, who will be greatly missed.
Anita is survived by her loving daughter Andrea and her husband Richard Mills of Salem, NH.
Sister-in-law, Theresa Savard of Hudson, NH. Nieces and Nephews: Edward Savard Jr. of Pelham, NH, Steven Savard of Pensacola Beach, Florida, Master Sergeant Michael Savard of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Paula and her husband Don Jones of Kennebunk, ME and Sandy Valo of Salem, NH. Grand Nieces and Grand Nephew: Michelle and Evan Glassman of Portland, ME, Chante' Jones of Kennebunk, ME and Bradley Valo of Bradenton, FL.
Many close friends: Doug and Carol Keller of Lowell, MA, Caroline Thomas of Salem, NH, Heather Kelleher of Lowell, MA, John and Teresa Gately of Hampstead, NH, and Susan Lake of Nashua, NH. And a special thanks to Jessica Dearborn, her friend and companion at Elara Caring.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, Nov. 23 rd from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Burial will follow at Cemetery on the Plains, Windham, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Anita's honor to St. Jude.
