Angelo Joseph Sarcione, Jr., 88, of Salem ,NH passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Angelo was born on May 13th, 1936, to Rosario (Sadie) (Lanzafamme) Sarcione and Angelo Joseph Sarcione Sr. He was raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts and attended local schools. Angelo spent a few years working for the power company, before beginning his 35+ year career with Malden Mills. He married the love of his life, Shirley (Hamel) in 1956, and the couple raised their family in Lawrence, MA and later, Salem, NH.
Angelo was a man of work ethic, loyalty, kindness, generosity and love for all. More than anything, Angelo loved spending time with his family. As an avid target shooter, Angelo was a member of both the Salem and Pelham Fish & Game Clubs. He loved striper fishing in Salisbury, driving up the sea coast and spending time at Lake Winnisquam.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Sarcione; his children, Angelo , III and his wife Janet of Danville, Donna McCracken and her husband Bruce of Deerfield, Debra Dolce and her husband Floyd of Danville, and Anthony and his wife Jennifer of Barrington; Grandchildren, Melissa, Scott, Sheena, Nicholas, Samatha, Angela, Shawna, Gino, and Anthony and eleven Great-Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, and his sister, Constance Sarcione.
In addition to his parents, Angelo is predeceased by his sister: Mary Guilmette and brother: Charles Sarcione.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 9-11 AM, with a funeral service immediately following at 11 AM, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023
