Angelina "Angie" Bencivenga, 98, of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2023, at Cedarview Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Methuen. She was born on October 2, 1924, to the late Giovanni and Marguerite (Stabile) DeFrancesco.

She was raised in Lawrence, MA, and attended local schools. Angie married the love of her life, Armando Bencivenga, on April 12, 1953. Together, they owned Bengy's restaurant for over 30 years. She went on to work at Pappy's Bakery and retired from Fisichelli's Pastry Shop at the age of 94.

Angie was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling with all her teams.

Angie is survived by her sons, John Bencivenga and his wife Lisa, of Plaistow, NH, and David Bencivenga and his wife Chris, of Salem, NH; her grandchildren, Alesha Burnham and her husband Ryan, Diana Darnstaedt and her husband Jason, Gina Stevens and her husband Jonathan, Corey Weiner and her husband Justin, and Jared Bencivenga and his girlfriend Melissa Thompson; as well as her great grandchildren: Cameron, Noah, Dylan, Bodi, Evan, Addison, Cody.

In addition to her parents, Angie was predeceased by her husband Armando and her two sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 9 AM-12 PM, at Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours, at 12pm on Wednesday. Burial will follow at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
