Allan (Jim) Gebo, 84, longtime resident of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully at
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital surrounded by loved ones, on Monday, October 21, 2024.
He was born on January 20, 1940, to the late John and Gladys (Lucier) Gebo. Jim attended
Methuen public schools and later received his degree in Architecture. Jim spent 80 years of
his life in the same house in Methuen, MA.
Jim was an avid sports fan and enjoyed collecting memorabilia, especially baseball cards.
He loved cheering on his beloved Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots. He was always up for a
few games of 45's with family and friends. He loved jazz music and attending local shows
with his wife Judy, his beloved wife of 58 years. Jim also cherished spending time with his
grandchildren, often taking them to the beach, doing arts & crafts, and playing Grampa
games.
He is survived by his wife Judy (Riley) Gebo; his sons Matthew Gebo of Whitefish, Montana,
Christopher Gebo and his wife Emily of Oakhurst, California, and James Gebo and his wife
Lori of Windham, New Hampshire; and his grandchildren Kaylan and Jake.
Jim is predeceased by his siblings John Gebo, Daniel Gebo and Barbara Sexton.
