Alfred S. Longo, 83 of Salem, NH, died peacefully at his home in Salem on Aug. 24th.

Al was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Salvatore and Antoinette (Norcia) Longo. He grew up and was educated in Methuen, MA, attending Holy Rosary School and graduating from Central Catholic High School. Al was a resident of Salem for the past 59 years.

Al was a retired car salesman for Bill Deluca Chevrolet. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem. He volunteered at the Food for the Hungry Food Pantry in Salem. He loved playing pickleball and fishing and was an avid model boat maker. Most of all, Al loved spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, Al was predeceased by his brother Tony Longo.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Edith (Carrie) Longo of Salem, NH, and by his sons Peter (wife Meredith) of North Andover, MA and Kevin (wife Danielle) of Manchester, NH; and grandchildren Maya, Casper and Elliott.

Nieces and Nephews: Paul Longo, Tom Longo, Ellen Ryan, Christopher Carrie, and Bethany Clark.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 29th at 10 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Aug. 28th from 4-7 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH.
