Albert Leo
Deshaies
Jul 24, 1944 — Mar 25, 2023
Lawrence
Albert Leo Deshaies Sr, 78, of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Royal Wood Mill Center.
Albert was born on July 24th, 1944, to Jeannette (Lemlon) and Leo Deshaies. He was raised in Methuen, MA and attended local schools. Albert spent most of his career as a machine operator.
He was a loving father to his children, a wonderful "Motorcycle Papa" to his grandchildren and a great friend to many. He loved to cook and read cookbooks. He was also a bit of a green thumb and loved house plants. He always enjoyed great music and loved playing his many albums. He owned motorcycles for the majority of his life. After he bought his Suzuki Intruder motorcycle in the late 80's, he started riding with "The Salem Bikers", they fondly gave him the nickname of "Clone". A year later, he gave that motorcycle to his son and bought a Harley Davidson motorcycle that he rode for the next 30 years.
He will be greatly missed.
Albert is survived by his children, Michael Deshaies & wife Elena of Los Angeles, CA, Albert Deshaies Jr. & Doreen of North Andover, MA, and Sherri Deshaies and her fiancé Patrick Timmons of Lawrence, MA; his grandchildren, Marissa Deshaies, Jessica Poirier, Rebecca Deshaies, Victoria Deshaies; his great-grandchildren, Kayden, Kylie, Taylor, and Ethan; and his siblings, Elaine White & her husband Jerry, Linda Deshaies, and Bobby Deshaies and his wife Karen; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Dillon James Deshaies, his sister Rita Prestoz, and brother, Ronnie Deshaies, and his niece, Rhonda Stoker and his nephew, DJ Stoker.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 10am to 12pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12pm at the funeral home.
