Alan D. Lane Sr., of Chester NH, passed away peacefully at home on Monday October 21, 2024 at age 74. He was a proud Vietnam War Army Veteran. Alan leaves behind his loving wife Gail M. (Seavey) Lane of Chester NH, son Alan D. Lane Jr of Fremont NH, daughter Gail M. Lane of Northfield VT, his beloved granddaughter Annabelle of Fremont NH, and late son John J. Lane IV.

Son of the late Edward P. Lane Sr. and Ann E. (Nielsen) Lane.  Brother of the late John J. Lane III, Edward P. Lane Jr and Gregory J. Lane. He leaves behind his sisters Ann E. Tucker of Marlborough MA, Reta Lane of Saxonville MA, Stephanie E. Lane of Marlborough MA, and two brothers Mark N. Lane of Marlborough MA, and Kevin J. Lane and his wife Sally A. Lane of Tamworth NH. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Alan D. was an adventurous soul, and he never missed a beat. He always had a project lined up; from building houses, working on cars, electronics, guns, and many more. Alan would and could tackle anything. When not tinkering you could find him going on adventures with the Veterans Services and hanging out at the VA with his comrades in arms. Alan loved shooting guns, fishing and playing games. In his younger years Alan had enjoyed flying airplanes and riding motorcycles. Alan loved his family and loved spending time with his beloved granddaughter Annabelle. Alan is greatly missed by his family and friends.
